It started with a need… Then Mia changed everything

  • Over 15 years ago, I created what I called my “towel dress”. It was simple — something I wore after washing my hair to let it dry naturally. It kept my body dry while doing things around the house yet feeling “dressed” in case someone came to the door. 

    I didn’t want to fuss with a robe that kept slipping. I just wanted something functional and comfortable to move freely after a shower.  Then I would put on my make-up, style my hair, and get dressed.

  • Later in life,  when my daughter Mia turned seven, her longer hair made post-bath routines tricky. She was tired, I was tired, and drying her hair became a bit of a struggle.

    That’s when the idea of the Post Shower Vest™ was born. I designed it just for us – and it changed everything.  

    After her bath, she’d put on her pajamas and the PSV™. She could play, relax, and let her hair air dry naturally — while staying warm and dry. No wet clothes. No rushing to dry her hair. Then when it was time for bed, I would take off the vest, brush her hair, and done! No stress.

The PSV™ became our favorite post shower ritual.

It wasn’t just a vest. It became a little act of love in our everyday lives.

Now, it’s here for you too.

Why it matters: health and harmony

In Chinese Medicine, “dampness” created from a wet garment on your body for an extended period is said to create heaviness and sluggishness in the body. That imbalance can lead to colds, low energy, and discomfort.

I strive to make a life filled with joyful moments and practical changes that make big differences.  Over the years I have had the urge to share The PSV™ and The Dress with women who have a million things going at one time but thrive on quality time. 

For me, these garments represent the quiet luxury of freedom—freedom to move, to live, to be at ease. Whether layered over your outfit or worn alone, they carry you through the flow of daily life—home, school runs, or the morning commute—without ever compromising comfort or elegance. Then, with a simple gesture, remove it, style your hair, and step out effortlessly composed.

The name RoMia is a nod to Ropa Mia—“my clothing.” It’s a reflection of the pieces that make me feel grounded, confident, and free. The number 24 marks the year I took the leap to bring this vision to life—a project born from love, inspired by my daughter Mia, and created for all women who embody the strength and beauty of a free spirit.
